Morcellation

Laparoscopic power morcellation is a minimally invasive surgery for myomectomy and hysterectomy. i-Cut is a single-use laparoscopic power morcellator which is designed for morcellating and extracting tissue in laparoscopic, gynecological surgical procedures. i-Cut is user friendly, powerful, economical and has a multi-stage safety concept.

Tissue morcellation during laparoscopic hysterectomy carries the risk of spreading cells from unsuspected malignancy.  Contained morcellation inside a bag is recommended as it is supposed to minimize this risk. A.M.I. More-Cell-Safe is an elastic, cell- and fluid tight bag, which significantly reduces the risk of unexpected cancer cell scatter.  In combination with i-Cut, safety during surgery is further increased.

Stress Urinary Incontinence

Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) can be a major cause for reducing the quality of life for women. A.M.I. focuses on the treatment of female urinary incontinence and offers a wide range of solutions. All A.M.I. slings are designed for retropubic and transobturator sling procedures.

A.M.I.’s product portfolio includes the sensiTVT, sensiTVT-A, TVA/TOA and Multi Purpose Sling.

sensiTVT and sensiTVT-A have a Hexagonal structure sling design with a cutout in the center which allows the center to always lie flat, even when the lateral sling arms are tilted.

The adjustable slings TVA/TOA and sensiTVT-A offer the possibility of post-operative adjustment to correct ongoing incontinence or urinary retention with no surgical reintervention.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse

Within this surgical specialty A.M.I. focuses on the treatment of incontinence as well as pelvic floor repair, which is rapidly becoming one of A.M.I.’s core competencies. In 2007 A.M.I. launched it’s first mesh implant for POP surgery and since then we are continually expanding our product range.

The A.M.I. HexaPro mesh offers a unique design with a hexagonal structure. The structure supports isoelasticity which maintains vaginal elasticity and function. The high porosity facilitates rapid anatomical integration into human tissue.

ProGYNious, PelviGYNious and EndoGYNious are indicated for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse. This meshes are designed for laparoscopic surgery – sacrocolpopexy and scarocervicopexy. ProGYNious is a combination of two types of mesh material. A hexagonal, iso-elastic mesh for the mesh body and a firmer, denser mesh material for the mesh neck.

InGYNious and BSC Mesh are indicated for transvaginal reconstructive surgery of symptomatic pelvic organ prolapse. InGYNious offers a 3-Level support for treatment of cervical/uterine/vault prolapse, cystocele and/or rectocele. BSC Mesh induces the formation of neo-ligaments and offers symmetrical, bilateral support for treatment of cervical/uterine or vault prolapse.

i-Stitch is a reusable surgical instrument for placing suspension sutures in transvaginal mesh surgery or Amreich/Richter procedures. It has the benefit of a safe, precise and reproducible application for suture fixation with only a minimal transvaginal dissection necessary.
